So it was Little Guy's birthday this week. We celebrated on Thanksgiving since Grandma came down and we would be all together. It was far more relaxed then, for the Little Guy was sick earlier. He's still sick, but getting better.

Although you can't share it, here's his cake.  I trust you can figure out what he likes best!



The frosting is 100% milk free - which made it EXTREMELY hard to use. But at least he can eat it. I guess I did a good enough job on the design, for a soon as he saw it he exclaimed "tractor" "Tractor dig in dirt" and several similar sentences.

We've been watching "Bob the Builder" videos lately and his favorite character is Spuds the Scarecrow. We now have a little person running around lisping "Spuds on the Job, Bob!" at the top of his voice. There's a video where the other characters plan a surprise birthday party for Bob and when we starting singing we were immediately corrected to sing "Happy Birthday Bob" instead!

He did figure out how to blow out the candles and requested to do that several more times. Of course we obliged - it's his birthday!
