Welcome New Readers!
At least I think new readers are showing up. Either that or some bot found my little blog and is going to town with all the links.
Most likely that's what's going on.
I'm becoming a statistics junky for hits on my blog. It's interesting to see where people are coming from and what posts are being read. What operating system they use doesn't interest me, and the one report that really confuses me is the "Printed Articles." Who in their right mind would want printed copies of the random sayings that spring from my head?
More importantly, who printed every single article tonight?
I suppose I should be joyful that someone wants my thoughts so badly. I'm really quite puzzled, however, and I'm not entirely confident that the report is accurate. What little flag is getting set that tells the server the page was printed? Is there something else that sets this off? I'll probably never know.
In any event, thank you, live person, for reading. And thank you, bots, for producing lots of page views. I didn't say anything when I hit the one-year mark for blogging since it didn't seem like a big deal compared to others who are far more regular with their updates and have been doing this far longer. But it has been over one year and I have enjoyed... most of it.
I've noted fairly often that I have 3 regular readers. Now I think I can honestly say I have 5. That's 150% of where I was last year! I'm touched. (And yes, I round my numbers!)
Blogging is far less expensive than psychotherapy. It certainly helps to have an outlet for some of the creative ideas that slosh around in this head of mine. I can only assume that at least some of you enjoy what you see here.
Or maybe I'm making a complete and public fool of myself.
Bah! Who cares? If I did then I wouldn't have bothered in the first place. There are some pretty smart people who have amazing articles on their blogs. I'm nowhere near their league.
I can live with that.
