It's birthday time again for the Little Guy!

While his favorite toy is the "Mack" truck from Cars, MY favorite present he received is Puff, the Magic Dragon. This is an illustrated version of the classic song. The only words are the lyrics from the song and each page is beautifully drawn.

I'm not happy with their version of Puff - I think his legs are a little too skinny - but the Little Guy is going around the house now saying "Puff, magic dragon... Puff, magic dragon" in something that sounds very much not like the melody of song but nonetheless reminds one of something like singing.  Hey! He's only three!

I've always liked this song and never really paid much attention to the alleged drug references. Even if "puff", "dragon", and "Hannah Lee" - or "Hanalei" have some remote connection to drugs it is so obscure as to be useless. It's a great song. Period.

There's a CD included with the song, an instrumental version, and two additional folk songs. The only thing that would make this better would be if the CD had more songs!
