Coming up for air

The best laid plans of mice and bloggers rarely work out as expected. I thought I'd write more. I thought I would read more.

Foolish me.

It's all been little distracting things that have kept me busy. Some of it is my own fault.  Ok, most of it.

Let's face it, I'm easily distracted by shiny objects and cartoons.  Did you know a new Spider-Man cartoon will start on the WB March 8th?  I did, but I haven't bothered to say anything here until just now.

Spider-Man has taken over our house lately.  The Little Guy no longer asks me to hold him over my head as he yells "Superman to the rescue!"  Now, I have to hold him up in front of me while swinging him in a "U" from side to side as he extends one arm, then the next, all while yelling "Spider-Man to the rescue!" It's a major workout!

And yes, he makes little "PSSST - PSSST" noises for the web-shooters.

Speaking of cartoons, you can find all sorts of anime online - just be careful, as some are a little (or a lot) ecchi and therefore not suitable. But you can find Jack and the Beanstalk and others for an instant distraction for the three year old in your life.  I remember this version of the classic tale and thinking the giant was quite scary at the time.  Now, not so much.  If only they'd release that Spider-Man cartoon from the 1990's on DVD... Oh well.

Oh, and I recently discovered Michael Buble and so I now officially have some music on my mp3 player. I know, I know: What rock have I been living under for the past decade not to know this guy? In my defense all I can say is that you just can't keep track of everything! What got my attention?  Need you ask?
