I've started wearing my little flash drive around my neck instead of tucked in a pocket of my laptop case. It's not because I'm using it more and need to keep it handy. Wearing a flash drive around your neck has become THE fashion statement for geeks.

I'm actually on the tail end of this fad so I'm sure this is nothing new to many of you (by "many" I mean 3 out of my 5 readers). But what's cool about my drive is that it looks very much like the shard of The Dark Crystal. Let's see:

Speaking of The Dark Crystal, there's a sequel due out in 2009. We'll just have to wait and see if The Power of the Dark Crystal lives up to the original.

(Now I know someone will laugh at my paltry 1GB and say I should have at least 4GB. I don't think I have 100MB on this so 1GB is more than enough! Besides, it looks good with my Purple Socks.)
