Researches have a brain-machine interface that seems to work pretty well. Well enough for a monkey to feed itself with a robotic arm. There's even a video to see so check out the cyborg monkey eating marshmallows!

As the article states, this may one day be used for replacement limbs or other such applications. Exciting stuff!

I also thought about remote control applications, although I doubt anyone would want holes drilled in their heads just for that.
