Olympics

I don't pay much attention to the Olympic Games.

I'm sure that shocks many of my 5 readers and offends the others but I've never been a big fan. My wife, however, enjoys the gymnastics and tried to watch as much of that as possible. But it seemed like every time we turned on the TV, there was Women's Beach Vollyball.

As I'm working on the computer, I hear her say in disgust, "I would never wear that while diving into the sand." So I come over and sit next to her on the couch.

"Ugh. That looks so uncomfortable, having sand stuck to you everywhere. At least the men wear T-shirts or tank-tops. Just look at what these girls are wearing!"

"OK. I'll look." I say, and begin to focus my attention to the flickering screen.

And the TV is turned off before I can count to one.

"But you told me to look!" My mock plea is ignored as she puts down the remote.

Melissa does have a point. All the guys - except the swimmers - seem to wear something that covers them up while almost every female athlete wears as little as possible.

Makes me wonder who designs their outfits.
