So our Lego Robotics team completely didn't do what I expected at the end of November and actually qualified for our State Competition December 6th. Wow!

We also received 3rd place in Robotic Design at the regional competition and high marks for our research presentation, team work, and technical assessment. Our robot didn't work as well at competition as it did in practice but that's typical. And we learned some tricks on how to make it more reliable.

Next year we'll do better.

At State's we didn't score quite as well, although our robot scored more points on the challenges than at regionals. All in all, it was a very fun and long day! I was up until 1am getting ready, up at 4:30am to be ready, and didn't get home until nearly 9pm!
